Day 1: Jammu |
|
|
Arrive in Jammu, and met by our representative at the airport or railway station. |
|
|
Transfer and check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. (L, D). |

Day 2: Jammu-Srinagar (300 kms/8 hrs) |
|
|
Transfer to Srinagar in the morning. Check into the hotel on arrival. |
|
|
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D). |

|
Day 3: Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar (56 kms/2 hrs one way) |
|
|
Take a full day excursion to Gulmarg. Visit the golf course and enjoy a cable car ride to Khilanmarg Snow Point for a view of the Thajwais Glacier. |

|
Return to Srinagar for overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D). |

|
Day 4: Srinagar-Pahalgam-Srinagar (96 kms/3 hrs) |

|
Take a full day excursion to Pahalgam, enroute visiting the Awantipura Ruins, a 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. |

Return to Srinagar for overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D). |

Day 5: Srinagar |

|
Check out from the hotel in the morning and transfer to houseboat. |

Take a full day sightseeing tour visiting Nehru Park, Shankaracharya Hill and Temple, Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. |

Enjoy a shikara ride on the Dal Lake and stop at Char Chinar in the evening. Overnight stay in the houseboat. (B,L,D). |

Day 6: Srinagar-Katra (270 kms/7 hrs) |
|
|
Transfer to Katra in the morning. Check into the hotel on arrival. |

|
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D). |

Day 7: Katra |

Take a 13 km trek to the Vaishnodevi Mata shrine for darshan early in the morning. |

If you prefer, ponies can be hired on direct payment basis. |

Return to Katra late at night. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D). |

Day 8: Katra |
|
|
Transfer from Katra to Jammu airport/railway station for your onward destination. |
