Day: 1 Arrive Gangtok |

On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by our representative and driven to Gangtok (130 Kms / 4 Hrs). |

The state of Sikkim lies in the shadow of the mighty Kanchenjunga and its capital, Gangtok, is a picturesque mountain clinging town with monasteries, parks, pagoda style houses and colourful bazaars. |
|
|
Check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel. |

Day: 2 Gangtok |

After breakfast, proceed on a half-day tour visiting, Rumtek Monastery (the Dharma Chakra Center): situated on a hill opposite Gangtok, |

24 kms (45mins) and was built as a replica of the original Karmapa monastery in Tsurpu, Tibet; Droul Choten: an impressive stupa ringed by prayer wheels, Research Institute of Tibetology, |
|
|
Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sundays) and Flower Show. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnigt at hotel. |

Day: 3 Gangtok-Tsomgo-Gangtok |
|
|
After breakfast, depart on an excursion to Tsomgo (Tshangu) Lake: situated at a height of 3,780 meters with an average depth of about 50 feet. |
|
|
This lake with cool and placid waters is in perfect harmony with the scenic beauty around. |
|
|
A small temple of Lord Shiva is on the lakeside. (Shiva is known as Tshangu here and hence the name of the lake). |
|
|
(Note: Excursion to Tshangu is subject to weather and obtaining a permit). |
|
|
Return to Gangtok. Afternoon is at leisure for independent activities. Overnight at hotel. |

Day: 4 Depart Gangtok |

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. |
|
|
Transfer to Bagdogra airport /New Jalpaiguri to depart for your onward destination. (Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri-Gangtok: 130 kms/04 hrs). |
