Dwarka is situated in the extreme west of Gujarat in the Saurashtra peninsula on the Arabian Sea, featuring most of the legends surrounding Lord Krishna. It is said that from here that the Lord Krishna is supposed to have ruled his kingdom in Dwarka. Dwarka is built on the bank of Gamut creek. Dwarka is a significant pilgrimage place for the Hindus.
