Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Jammu

Arrive in Jammu, and met by our representative at the airport or railway station.

Transfer and check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. (L, D).

Day 2: Jammu-Srinagar (300 kms/8 hrs)

Transfer to Srinagar in the morning. Check into the hotel on arrival.

Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D).

Day 3: Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar (56 kms/2 hrs one way)

Take a full day excursion to Gulmarg. Visit the golf course and enjoy a cable car ride to Khilanmarg Snow Point for a view of the Thajwais Glacier.

Return to Srinagar for overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D).

Day 4: Srinagar-Pahalgam-Srinagar (96 kms/3 hrs)

Take a full day excursion to Pahalgam, enroute visiting the Awantipura Ruins, a 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Return to Srinagar for overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D).

Day 5: Srinagar

Check out from the hotel in the morning and transfer to houseboat.

Take a full day sightseeing tour visiting Nehru Park, Shankaracharya Hill and Temple, Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh.

Enjoy a shikara ride on the Dal Lake and stop at Char Chinar in the evening. Overnight stay in the houseboat. (B,L,D).

Day 6: Srinagar-Katra (270 kms/7 hrs)

Transfer to Katra in the morning. Check into the hotel on arrival.

Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D).

Day 7: Katra

Take a 13 km trek to the Vaishnodevi Mata shrine for darshan early in the morning.

If you prefer, ponies can be hired on direct payment basis.

Return to Katra late at night. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,L,D).

Day 8: Katra

Transfer from Katra to Jammu airport/railway station for your onward destination.
