KATHMANDU, May 7 - Nepal`s main opposition party, the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (UCPN-M), suspended a nationwide indefinite general strike which has entered the sixth day on Friday.

A meeting of the UCPN-M Standing Committee took the decision to this effect on Friday night.
